Balding hair is a problem that has severe effects on the personality of the person as it shakes up the confidence but also makes the person looking older beyond his true years. There are certain treatments available for hair loss but they are either very expensive or take a lot of time to kick in. that’s why it is important to cover up or camouflage the hair loss so when the treatment is over it doesn’t look unnatural. This camouflaging can be done by styling the hair in certain ways.
The first thing to do when losing hair quickly is to cut them short. This technique is very good as short hair doesn’t fall off very easily and it is also very difficult to identify the loss of hair when they are short.
The worst thing you could do when losing hair is the comb over. This is considered the classic look for men of a certain age in which the hair is grown longer on the side where the hair are not thin and 'combed over' the bald area. This style never works and only spells disaster even in the slightest of breezes.
The other thing to be avoided is combing the hair straight back. This may seem affective as it covers the bald spots, but it exposes the forehead and draws attention to the receding hairline. Another thing that is practiced commonly is growing your hair longer at the back where there always is hair to make up for what's lacking on top. This creates imbalance in the look and draws even more attention to receding hairline. Apart from these things usage of gel is not recommended as it deteriorates the condition.
Mousses and conditioners should be used as they give the hair a fluffy natural look. Grow your remaining hair by a few inches, get it in layers and brush it forward this breaks up the vanishing hairline.
The last resort for men with balding hair is to shave their head. Its better to clean it all of then to have patches of hair, or you can trim it very short with a trimmer. This makes you look younger and the modern trends make it very acceptable. |
