Frontal Baldness

Baldness is a common skin and hair disorder. There are certain types or patterns of balding. Frontal baldness is one of them. Frontal baldness can be embarrassing and frustrating if you don’t know what is causing it. This type of balding is common and is experienced by both men and women.  So for preventive measures for hair loss, you must know what is causing them to fall out.  This is important as when you understand why it is happening, you may be able to take action and stop your hair from falling.

Firstly to understand hair falling, one needs to understand how hair grows.  Only the root of the hair that is alive, while the actual hair is dead tissue. Hair roots are together with this in follicles which get their food by your bloodstream.  That’s why diet also is a factor in hair loss as when you are not properly nourished hair fall occurs, undue stress also plays its part in balding.

The other major factor is hormone imbalances as it contributes to frontal baldness.  If you have too much testosterone in your system (see male pattern baldness), it can cause the hair follicle to shrink, which in turn results in thinning hair and eventual hair loss.  We lose approximately 100 hairs a day and most people don’t even realize their hair is thinning until they have lost almost fifty percent of their hair so we get to know the damage when it has already been done. So you are experiencing significant hair loss, it is better to consult your doctor immediately so that hair loss prevention methods can be adopted to slow down the process and rectify the damage. It is also better to trim your hair as thinning long hair have a greater chance to fall then small hair.
